YAY!!!! the cast came off today. What you can't see in the picture is all of the nasty dead skin that is coming off of it. I have to lay low the next few days but then back in 2 weeks and no more doctors!!! Woo hoo!!!

Today begins "walk season" as I like to call it. It's that time of year that my family begins the push for our walks. This year I'm crewing in Boston and hopefully walking NYC :) Today was the "great start" party and we had a blast.

Blanket
This is kind of a random one as I sit and get ready for American Idol :) YAY :) This is a piece of the blanket that mom made me from the blanket that I had when I was a kid. The blanket went EVERYWHERE with me (including Europe and college). Grandma gave me the blanket and mom cut it up (finally) to make me a new one. The coolest thing is that there is enough left to make a blanket for my little one when the day comes along :)

In Boston they have their own First Night...theatreknitter and I had full intentions of going, that is until it got REALLY COLD!!!!!
Needless to say, we didn't go. However, seeing as I was at the Common on the 2nd in order to get the new license and such I figured I'd stop and look. Sadly I didn't have the "good" camera with me but the iPhone doesn't do too bad huh?

For Christmas this year I got an electric griddle...I have ALWAYS wanted one...why??? Well, because I am a big fan of pancakes and I just can't make them on the stove :) So for New Years Day breakfast I made theatreknitter and I pancakes on my new griddle. Don't they look pretty????
